Job Description:
  • Seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12 years post qualification experience in accounting, statutory compliance, governance, and business, who is proactive, adaptable, and quick to grasp new concepts
  • Understanding of fundamental aspects of entity setup, compliance with regulations, and accounting norms is essential
  • Responsibilities include establishing effective accounting procedures and overseeing the accounting team
  • Accountable for the preparation and assessment of monthly/yearly financial reports, verification of general ledger entries, and provision of expert accounting assistance
  • Proficiency in identifying and rectifying financial irregularities is crucial

Great to have:
  • Experience working in the GCC
  • Background in the IT/ITES industry

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Compiling and evaluating clients' financial statements
  • Supervising proper maintenance of financial records and overseeing the accounting team's tasks
  • Engaging with clients, associates, auditors, and vendors regarding financial transactions and accounts
  • Monitoring and ensuring clients' compliance with statutory regulations
  • Developing checklists for legal requirements and overseeing vendor management for compliance
  • Coordinating pre and post-incorporation procedures for new companies
  • Interacting with company secretaries to handle client compliance matters
  • Tracking project expenses and invoicing clients regularly
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Team leadership

Skills Required:
  • In-depth understanding of statutory obligations for companies, LLPs, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of entity incorporation procedures in India
  • Hands-on experience with Indian GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous
  • Proficient in accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Solid skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
