ExemptJOB SUMMARYAs a member of the Enterprise Product Development Team, a Senior Mobile Software Engineer creates, maintains, and implements source code for mobile platforms.

This includes advancing technologies to meet client needs the growth strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Work with development team in agile sprints, with deliverables and demonstration of results· Develop, test, refactor, and maintain Empyrean mobile source code· Partner with Product, Design, and backend Engineering teams to innovate and build new app functionality· Participate in product design meetings to provide feedback and mobile expertise· Stay up to date with terminology, concepts, and best practices on mobile platforms· Provide engineering leadership within your team· Employ automated testing to build features with a high technical quality· Take responsibility for the components and features you develop· Perform peer code reviews· Ensure security through code development best practices· Mentor junior software engineersREQUIRED
SKILLS AND ABILITIES· Deep understanding native iOS APIs, frameworks, and design patterns

Strong proficiency with Swift, UIKit, Xcode, 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Dual-platform experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Strong, provable proficiency integrating with RESTful and GraphQL based APIs
  • Experience following mobile and software development best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience writing documentation
  • Experience working with a team, self-starter, problem-solver
  • Experience with development methodologies; e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban
  • Willingness to learn new technology
  • Must maintain HIPAA certification
  • Experience with benefit program administration, and health and welfare processes a plusKNOWLEDGE,
    EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent years of experience in computer science or completion of related boot camp program)
  • 6-8 years of experience as a mobile developer
