Key Responsibilities:

Greet and Assist Patients:

Patient Registration:
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, demographics, and medical history. Ensure all necessary forms and documentation are complete and accurate.

Billing and Payments:
Process patient co-pays, deductibles, and payments. Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Medical Records Management:
Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring they are up-to-date and in compliance with clinic policies and regulations. Safeguard patient confidentiality at all times.

Check-In and Check-Out:

Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, verifying insurance, collecting necessary documentation, and providing patients with any required information.


Maintain a Clean and Organized Front Desk: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable. Ensure that informational brochures and forms are readily available to patients.

Coordinate with Clinical Staff:

Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely flow of patients, resolve scheduling conflicts, and address urgent patient needs.


Handle Emergencies:

Follow clinic protocols for handling emergency situations, such as directing patients to the appropriate care or contacting emergency services when necessary.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, recordkeeping, and billing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
