Position: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications across various platforms.
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues before product releases.
- Perform in-depth analysis of test results and provide comprehensive reports to the relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.
Must Have Skills:
- 6+ years total experience with at least 3+ yrs of automation experience involved in design and development of Test Automation scripts using Appium and Java.
- Experience with other frameworks like Espresso, Cypress will be an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming with a focus on writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code.
- Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with any IDE e.g. VSCode.
- Good understanding of Agile methodology.
- Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps practices would be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
