Job Title: Clearing and Settlement Analyst

Experience:2-4 Years

NoticePeriod: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Pune

JD:

Responsibilities:

·Liaising between DBOI & onshore/ nearshore partners

·The candidate should also be able tohandle huge volumes and escalate issues at the right time to the Team Manager /Onshore Clients

·Process day-to-day activities withinset benchmarks with minimal error. Activities may include

·Reconciliation of trade positions /books for entitlements

·Booking of new positions in variousDB systems

·Chasing counterparties on claims& initiating payments

·Post pay date reconciliation &File Closure

·Spend 50-60% of the time in actualtransaction processing. To supervise day to day deliverables of theprocess/sub-process assigned. Will be the first escalation for exceptions &aged breaks.

·Processing & supervisingsub-processes and ensure accuracy as per the SLA / benchmarks.

·Work allocation to PEs, receivedthrough system queues & E-mail requests

·Candidate needs to ensure that therelevant controls are executed & be responsible for 4 eyes.

·Ensure strict adherence to allinternal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal so asto build robust control environment. Ensure there are no KPI miss, Breaches& Violation.

·To keep Team Manager informed of theexceptional occurrences, to enable appropriate action and also responsible formanaging the team in his/her absence.

·Leave Management for entire Team

PrimaryWorking Relationships:

·Internal clients, Event Management,Client Services Group

·Brokers/Clients and Custodianscontact via Phone and or Email

·Other internal teams onshore, nearshore & offshore

·Operations Control on break issuesBangalore/London/Franfurt/Jacksonville/Pune

Your skills and experience:

·2 to 4 years' experience inInvestment Banking Operations / Custody Operations, corporate actions/incomeexperience preferable

·Strong Corporate Actions knowledge

·Comfortable dealing with multiplestakeholders and complex situations.

·Strong English written & verbalskills required.

·Ability to converse clearly withinternal and external staff via telephone and written communication

·Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplications

·Be willing to work in relevantgeography business hours

·Ready to travel as and when required

·Be willing to work in shifts
