Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain Zepto's design system, including visual design components, interaction patterns, and design guidelines, to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital products and platforms.- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand user needs and business objectives, and translate them into intuitive and cohesive design solutions.- Lead the design and implementation of new features and enhancements, from ideation and prototyping to final execution, while ensuring alignment with the design system and maintaining a delightful user experience.- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration, and advocate for the importance of design system adoption and consistency.- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the design system to identify areas for improvement and optimization, and drive continuous refinement and evolution.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.- Proven experience in product design, with a focus on design systems and component-based design.- Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in building and implementing design systems that enable scalable and consistent user experiences.- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, as well as prototyping tools like InVision or Framer.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build bridges between product, design, and engineering teams.- Experience working in an agile development environment and shipping features at a fast pace while maintaining high quality and consistency.- Passion for user-centered design and a keen eye for detail.
