Role Description
:The Lead Engineer SQA is a critical role in the Digital technology team of Carrier. This role predominantly works on both manual and automation testing by writing various test scripts.
Responsibilities:
Execute programs and automated scripts for testing purposes Develop automation scripts to align with acceptance criteria Functional test new products and regression test existing products during each QA release cycle Assist with the testing, documenting, defect tracking and information flow during each QA cycle Assist with development of new automation tools and maintaining existing automation tools Gain proficient knowledge of system functionality Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement to help streamline the development life cycle Participate in Scrum ceremonies and discuss about the defects with details with the development teamBasic Qualifications & Experience:
At least 7 years of professional experience in QA At least 4 years of experience creating and maintaining test tooling At least 4 years of experience with QA or performance engineering At least 2 years of experience testing cloud native software B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or related field.Benefits
