About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Lead for Market Intelligence within the Advanced Markets business to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and synthesizing market intelligence data to inform strategic decisions and support the successful commercialization of our biopharmaceutical products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to provide critical insights into market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviours.

Job Description:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analyze market data, including competitive intelligence, pricing trends, and customer preferences, to provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships or collaborations.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and track competitor activities, product launches, and market positioning.
  • Track market movements and the competitive dynamics in the therapeutic space with particular focus on impact on the BBL portfolio.
  • Develop competitive profiles and regularly update the executive team on key competitors' strategies and movements.
  • Evaluate various scenarios and potential market disruptions to provide risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Customer Insights: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather and analyse customer feedback and market segmentation data.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing strategies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to senior management, summarizing key findings and their implications for the business.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

  • Proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or related roles within the biopharmaceutical industry, as a management consultant or as a financial analyst.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical products and industry regulations is strongly preferred
