Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product and business teams to design and discuss scalable solutions to business problems.
- Own the products architecture and get involved in key design and architectural decisions with the engineering team.
- Responsible for the building the next generation architecture of the payment processing platform. Charter includes technical solutioning including automation, integration, Resiliency, Selfhealing systems
- Initiate and influence the product architecture roadmap being in the driver's seat by proactively planning the architecture team's strategy and goals with the help of engineering and product management team.
- Setup best practices for team to achieve scale and quality performance of the system.
- Mentor architects to scale technical decision making and build long term architectural strategy aligned with product vision
- Own and lead strategic priorities like design thinking and longterm architecture for PayU products.
- Establish longterm architectural vision and defined pathways aligned with required business capabilities, incorporated in both longrange and short planning processes.
Ideal Experience
- More than 15 years of experience in technology domain with strong exposure in working with large scale systems.
- Handson enterprise architect experience across payments, travel, telecom and ecommerce domains.
- Successful background working with stakeholders to develop architecture framework that aligns strategy, processes, with business goals.
- Good knowledge, understanding & experience of working with a large variety of multitier architectures. Awareness of pitfalls & use cases for a large variety of solutions.
- Experience & exposure to a variety of largescale persistent systems including large databases.
- Strong understanding of backend system design and preferably worked on Python
- Managed teams but at the same time be a handson technology person.
- Excellent Mentoring skills; Be the technical mentor to your team
