Roles and Responsibilities
- Devise and execute test plans for braking, suspension, and steering systems.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, both in controlled settings and real-world scenarios, to validate performance, durability, and safety.
- Leverage state-of-the-art testing tools and software for data collection and analysis.
- Analyze test results to identify patterns, challenges, and areas for enhancement.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate closely with design teams, product developers, and suppliers to address issues and enhance designs.
- Participate in design evaluations, offering expert guidance on test feasibility and performance.
- Effectively communicate test findings and insights to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive testing, particularly focusing on brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
- Demonstrated track record of executing successful tests and delivering actionable insights.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools for brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, MOST, and Ethernet.
- Experience with testing software such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with data analysis tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent software is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD programs and vehicle dynamics simulation tools is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
