Job Description:

We need a driven Marketing Assistant to aid our marketing team with various administrative and creative tasks. The ideal candidate must excel in desktop publishing, graphic design, copywriting, and have proficiency in Adobe Suite and Wordpress. This position demands a detail-oriented person with exceptional organizational and communication skills. It's a contract role, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, and the individual should be able to support the Central USA time zone (Houston, TX).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Design and produce graphic elements for digital and print media.
  • Develop and manage content for the website using Wordpress.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Write and edit engaging copy for various marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for marketing requirements.
  • Support the company's social media presence and branding consistency.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance.
  • Assist in organizing events, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Perform administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, preferably as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Wordpress website design and maintenance.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Understanding of Salesforce CRM.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics (a plus).
  • Ability to support the Central USA time zone (Houston, TX).
