Requirement Analysis:


Analyze functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems to determine the necessary technical development or modifications to meet mission objectives.


System Change Specifications:
Prepare system change/programming specifications.

Specify programming instructions, inputs and outputs, structures, and other analytical products to document the functional and technical requirements.

Technical Design Documentation:
Prepare technical design documents.

Participate in critical design reviews to study and verify impacts on current systems.

System and Software Resolution:
Analyze and resolve system or software failures to ensure system reliability and performance.

Testing and Validation:
Prepare and execute tests for system or subsystem software validation to ensure accurate functionality and performance.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Required Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Mainframe IDMS and COBOL.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with Endevor.

Education:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Mainframe IDMS and COBOL.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.

Experience with Endevor (preferred).

RequirementsMinimum Qualification


A minimum of a MS in engineering, physics, or related field with 5 years working in digital/analog signal processing and control system design is required.

Five years of relevant industry experience in addition to a master's in engineering, math, or physics.

A PhD is preferred but not required and candidates with substantially more than 5 years in industry following receipt of a BS degree will be considered.

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
