We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Manager (China Market) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Roles and Responsibilities :
  • Market Research:
    Identify potential suppliers through comprehensive market research.
  • Supplier Evaluation:
    Assess suppliers based on various criteria including product quality, pricing, delivery times, after-sales support, and environmental sustainability.
  • Request for Proposals (RFPs):
    Solicit quotations from potential suppliers based on defined protocols, including specifications, quantities needed, delivery schedules, and other relevant terms and conditions.
  • Negotiation Skills:
    Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, warranties, and service agreements to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Risk Management:
    Mitigate supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or regulatory compliance concerns through effective risk management strategies.
  • Define Requirements:
    Specify requirements and specifications for the products needed, including features, performance, and other relevant factors.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Evaluate suppliers based on their track record of delivering reliable and high-quality products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications :
  • College degree or above, proficient in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese.
  • 2-3 years of experience in import-related industries, good at procurement channel development and management, experience in technology, micro mobility and other technology related industries is preferred;
  • Possess excellent business understanding ability, good communication skills, business negotiation skills, product structure ability and output ability;
  • High sensitivity to product prices, proficient in product price accounting, and familiar with the price negotiation process at the purchasing end;
  • Have a clear understanding of overseas or import procurement business processes and systems, and have certain ability to forecast the industry environment based on logical judgement;
  • Possess good psychological quality, strong mind, adaptable to the fast-paced work mode of startup environment, and have good performance under pressure.
Requirements
Education: College degree or higher, proficient in English, Madarin Chinese, Cantonese. Experience: 2-3 years in import-related industries, with a strong background in procurement channel development and management. Experience in micro mobility hardware, technology and technology related industries is a plus. Skills: Excellent business acumen and communication skills. Strong business negotiation and product structure understanding. Ability to effectively deliver results. Price Sensitivity: High sensitivity to product prices, proficient in product price accounting, and familiar with price negotiation processes on the procurement end. Industry Knowledge: Clear understanding of overseas or import procurement business processes and systems, with the ability to forecast industry trends based on logical judgment. Personal Attributes: Strong psychological resilience, adaptable to the fast-paced work environment of e-commerce, and capable of performing well under pressure.
