"KTI" is seeking an Sr. Manager - Sales & BD will be responsible to create, identify, qualify, pursue and win business opportunities. This position leads as Sales & Business development (Defense) team. The Candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and pursuing business opportunities, building partnerships with Clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand Kay Tent Industries overall presence in Defense Sector.
Roles and Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to deliver profitable business across the defense sector, including government contracts, subcontracting opportunities, and partnerships.

Develop a strategic approach to engage with government departments responsible for defense procurement.
Identify and analyze government tender opportunities relevant to the company's textile / steel products and services.
Liaise with government officials, stakeholders, and decision-makers to ensure effective communication and understanding of the company's capabilities and offerings.

Provide expert insights into the technical aspects of textile products used by the Army, including materials, specifications, and operational implications.

Stay updated with industry trends, policy changes, and regulations that may impact government procurement processes.
Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences related to defense procurement to represent the company's interests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense ministry and MHA.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of defense clients.
Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and other documentation in response to RFPs and RFIs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our capabilities and establish thought leadership.
Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and market insights.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this challenging position should possess:
Bachelors/ Master's degree with 10+ years Sales & BD experience in Défense sector. Post leaving Défense services would be preferred
Have a strong understanding of Défense business
Competitive, flexible and resourceful professional with very good networking and communication skills. Open-minded, persuasive and able to deal with all levels at customer accounts
Talented in writing proposals, giving presentations, performing technology demonstrations, forecasting and closing transactions.
Candidate should have strong business acumen and a real commitment to achieving goals & results.
Willingness to travel as per project and business requirement.
