Job description :

  • Design, implement, and manage virtualized environments using VMWare technologies.
  • Deploy and configure cloud-based solutions, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Perform system administration tasks on Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
Required Skills :

  • Proven experience as a VMWare and Cloud Engineer, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in VMWare virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, or Red Hat.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
