The Team Leader, Vulnerability Management plays a crucial role in identifying and mitigating security risks to ensure NTT's systems' security and integrity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading vulnerability assessments, and providing expert recommendations.
Working at NTT
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using automated scanning tools and manual techniques to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, impact, and exploitability.
- Assess potential risks associated with vulnerabilities and provide detailed remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop mitigation strategies and address identified vulnerabilities.
- Utilize vulnerability scanning tools to conduct scans and prepare assessment reports.
- Communicate assessment results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in security awareness programs and collaborate with incident response teams.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and contribute to enhancing vulnerability assessment processes.
- Share knowledge to improve vulnerability management practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in using vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks and risk analysis principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or GCVA are beneficial.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in information security roles and conducting vulnerability assessments.
- Experience in advanced vulnerability assessments and security incident response.
