The purpose of the Learning and Development Specialist is to be a crucial role in the executiion and support of training programs, contributing to the growth and development of employees and the overall success of the Customer Group Learning objectives.

Responsibilities

Requirements:Analyse and define the training and learning needs within the Customer Group in alignment with the central Ideagen L&D team strategies and curriculum. Support the design and development of the Customer Group training programs aligned to the career pathway and framework goals.Program Delivery:Deliver effective training sessions through various channels that follow the curriculum, strategies and needs of the Customer Group and central Ideagen L&D function. Integration of technology for efficient e-learning solutions that support development of training materials (documentation, manuals, media contect etc) in a desired timeframe and quality as defined by the programme deliverables.Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams to align training initiatives with the Customer Division objectives and the central Ideagen L&D strategies. Gather feedback and evaluate training effectiveness for continuous improvement. Provide training support for new hires within the Customer Group as well as foster collaborative learning initiatives to enhance knowledge sharing.Systems and Tools:Utilise assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness as well as implement reporting and analytics to measure the impact of training initiatives.

Skills and Experience

Ability to design effective training programs tailored to the needs of the Customer Group in line with the strategies from the central Ideagen L&D function. Clear and concise communication to effectively convey training materials to diverse audiences. Familiarity with e-learning tools and technology currently available within Ideagen as well as a desire to explore alternative training solutions to support the growth and scalable learning and development within the Customer Group. Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Skill in collecting and analyzing feedback to enhance training effectiveness. Flexibility to adapt training content to evolving business needs and industry trends. Understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance training meets standards. Ability to identify areas for performance improvement and design targeted training interventions. Designing training initiatives to foster high levels of employee engagement. Promoting a culture of continuous learning within the Customer Group. Addressing challenges and solving problems related to training delivery. Analyzing data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Efficiently managing and organizing training materials and sessions.
