Position :
Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer
Experience : 8+ Years
Key Skills :
- Minimum 5Y+ on Azure cloud services.
- Proficiency in using Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, and Azure Data Factory for building data solutions.
- Strong understanding of metadatadriven approaches and data governance principles.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Programming experience with Python, PySpark, Shell scripting, and SQL is mandatory.
Good to Have:
- Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Designing and implementing data engineering solutions using Azure services such as Synapse, Azure Storage, and Data Factory.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Implementing metadatadriven approaches to automate and optimize data workflows.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define data engineering architectures.
- Ensuring data quality and reliability through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Monitoring data pipelines and performance metrics to identify and address issues proactively.
- Staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in data engineering and Azure technologies.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster professional growth and development.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
