Job Description:
Join IHG Hotels & Resorts as a Pastry Chef and take charge of the Culinary department to deliver exceptional products and services within brand standards. We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef with 5+ years of experience to lead our team across multiple locations in Kota, Jaipur, Bikaner, and Jodhpur.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the Pastry Kitchen
Supervise the preparation, baking, and finishing of desserts, breads, and baked goods
Develop, test, and cost out new recipes and menu items
Maintain updated and accurate recipes and costing of all products
Focus on rejuvenating pastries in line with Eat With Six Senses practices
Monitor food and material waste sorting for efficient composting
Establish purchasing practices aligned with Six Senses nutrition and sustainability platforms
Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education
Operate the department in compliance with legal, statutory, financial, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts
5+ years of experience as a chef, pastry chef, baker, or equivalent
Fluent in English
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required
