Job Introduction: The role of the IT UEx Analyst is to guarantee the fulfillment of performance obligations of internal computing systems. This involves collecting and examining data to support systems management, maintenance, and performance. The IT Support Analyst is also accountable for producing and organizing reports based on their discoveries, detailing likely causes and potential solutions to system problems. This individual will utilize established communication, analytical, and issue-solving abilities to help recognize, convey, and resolve malfunctions, offering suitable recommendations to optimize the benefits of IT systems investments.

Major Responsibilities:

  • End User Support: Ensure the local IT infrastructure is operational and efficient.
  • Maintain Audio/Video infrastructure and provide support and training to end users.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and analyze computing technology reviews.
  • Uphold quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
  • Installation, Move, Add, Change (IMAC).
  • Identify and resolve hardware and/or software issues promptly.
  • Ensure ITGC Compliance according to Magna Standards.

Knowledge and Education:

  • Proficient in Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
  • Familiar with PowerShell scripts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification from an AICTE recognized University.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification is MANDATORY.
  • Microsoft Certification is advantageous.

Work Experience: At least 7 years of relevant work experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT Operations procedures and ITIL.
  • Proven background in end-user support.
  • Proficiency in Office365 tech support.
  • Experience in configuring, diagnosing, and deploying Windows/Mac devices.
  • Experience in configuring, diagnosing, and deploying engineering software.
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Organizational Units.
  • Practical knowledge of spreadsheets, graphs, flow charts, & presentations.
  • Extensive experience with core software applications; familiarity with Matrix42 or ServiceNOW and Nexthink is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, issue-solving, & mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Deep comprehension of the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Capability to efficiently prioritize and carry out tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to conduct research on system problems and products when needed.
  • Ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive.
  • Experience collaborating in a team-based, cooperative environment.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Dexterity in hands and fingers for operating a computer keyboard, mouse, and handling other computer parts.
  • Lifting and moving moderately heavy objects like computers and peripherals.
  • Regular overnight travel ranging from 0-10% of the time.
