Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Budgeting & Control of Newsprint & Other costs of the State.
  • Periodic MIS & analysis / review of critical financial & operational information for decision making
  • Advt. Billing, Recovery, circulation Billing, Process-driven event Event and Job work billing and other Billing & Recovery, ensuring regular reporting and recovery of Debtors
  • Audits & Statutory compliances in Tax & other regulatory matters
  • Inventory/Vendor Management and control over wastages & leakages
  • Review of operational business agreements/ barter agreements/ rental & property agreements and ensure arrangements as per corporate guidelines/best interest of organization
  • Ensuring Monthly, Quarterly and Annual closure of financial books of the entire state
  • Legal- Tracking / Monitoring of the various cases, dispute resolution with mutual settlement in respect of cheque bounce & recovery cases
  • Monitoring and budgetary control of special projects/capex
