Solution: The Architect leads, owns, and develops a solution blueprint (block diagrams, service identification, service contracts, and deployment strategies) for the sub-system/component in collaboration with product management. The Architect develops this blueprint for RFP's or Development (during the readiness stage).

Non-Functional Requirements: The Architect leads, owns, and develops the non-functional requirements for security, privacy, reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and serviceability for a sub-system/component.

Patterns and Practices: The Architect defines the relevant design and architecture patterns to use during the Firmware development

Technical Reviews: The Architect leads the periodic technical reviews for the team with peer reviewers or customers.

Governance: The Architect governs the software development using code/design review and approval processes.

Continual Debt Management: The Architect maintains the architectural debt generated during software development and collaborates with product management to prioritize the architectural features and debt.
