Job Title: Technical Writer

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring in-depth knowledge of Optimum's products and developing relevant documentation.

Your tasks will involve gathering and assessing information from product management, development teams, and task management system tickets.


You will collaborate closely with Optimum's account managers to validate user-facing content and with technical teams for design documents.

This position will involve serving Optimum's global clients and will be based in Noida, India.



Main Responsibilities:

The technical writer will play a crucial role in creating content for various Optimum products.

  • Tasks include developing user guides, online help, technical specifications, and relevant graphics for diverse audiences.
  • Update and manage existing documentation as applications evolve, incorporating changes and producing content for new features.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical experts to gather necessary information.
  • Gain proficiency in organizational tools.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of reference materials and experiences.
  • Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience in technical and user content creation.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology is advantageous.
  • Experience in the Automotive industry is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office tools such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to create engaging educational content, including videos, is desirable.
