Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PowerBI Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using the PowerBI platform.
As a PowerBI Specialist, you will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design, and develop data models, and create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards.
You will play a key role in driving data insights, decision-making, and overall business performance.Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives for reporting and analytics.
Design and develop efficient and scalable data models to support reporting needs.
Utilize the PowerBI platform to transform raw data into meaningful insights, visually engaging reports, and interactive dashboards.
Clean, validate, and integrate disparate data sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Optimize data models and reports for performance and usability.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure proper data governance, data security, and data quality standards are implemented.
Train and support end-users to effectively utilize PowerBI tools and features.
Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features, best practices, and industry trends.
Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve any PowerBI-related issues.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Supporting and continuous improvement of existing PowerApps.
Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages is essential.
High degree of user focus and service orientation.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a PowerBI Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
In-depth knowledge of PowerBI, including DAX formulas, data modeling, and creating visually engaging dashboards.
Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent data visualization and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful insights.
Proficiency in using the PowerBI platform and its various features, including DAX formulas and data modeling.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
