Role Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Tour Specialist to design and implement interactive product tours for our software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience (UX) design, instructional design, and a deep understanding of software products.
You will work closely with our product development, customer success, and marketing teams to create tours that effectively guide users through our software's features and functionalities.
Essential Duties:
- Design Interactive Tours: Create detailed and engaging product tours that guide users through the key features and functionalities of our software products.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and customer success teams to ensure product tours align with user needs and business goals.
- User Onboarding: Develop onboarding sequences that help new users quickly understand and start using our software effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the effectiveness and user experience of product tours.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for all product tours, ensuring they are uptodate with the latest product changes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Proven experience in creating interactive product tours, user onboarding materials, or instructional design, preferably for software products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with product tour creation tools (e.g. intercom) and knowledge of UX design principles.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze user feedback and engagement metrics to refine and improve product tours.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to create clear and concise instructional content.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively to design engaging and informative product tours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, UX Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Software Industry Experience: Experience working in the software or tech industry.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work on product tours or similar projects.
