Job Title: Material Manager (Injection Molding)

Roles And Responsibilities :

As the designated individual overseeing plant production scheduling and contributing to long-term production planning analysis, tactical purchasing, inventory management, and coordination with plant teams, the following tasks are undertaken:

Ensuring adherence to company standard practices and procedures across all materials department functions. Supervising vendor releases and forecasts in alignment with production schedules and existing inventory levels. Collaborating with suppliers to address any delays in delivery and resolve related issues. Monitoring and optimizing raw material inventory levels. Ensuring accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and facilitating proper setup for precise consumption tracking. Collaborating with management to identify supply requirements. Cultivating and managing relationships with suppliers, including negotiation. Participating in program launches to grasp supplier plans. Accountable for reporting and achieving metrics. Overseeing write-offs for damaged or obsolete inventory to maintain accurate inventory valuation. Maintaining and validating accuracy of the perpetual inventory system. Monitoring MRP versus Purchase Order reports to prevent over/under procurement issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or related fields.

Experience: 8+ Years

Skills:

Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Organizational and record-keeping proficiency. Familiarity with inventory reporting systems, logistics, and ERP systems.
