Duties


This position will assist in making official travel arrangements for Consulate personnel and visitors including arrangement of travel and hotel accommodations.

Confirms tickets and hotels, amends travel orders, and modifies travel arrangements for official visitors using appropriate accounting data. Works with hotel representatives to arrange room reservation and venues for events. Coordinates emergency medical and visitation travel. Works with airlines to ensure appropriate travel arrangements are made. Meets, greets, and expedites officials of the Consulate and other official visitors at the airport. The position will also assist in the expediting military aircraft and naval ships travelling through the Consular region.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:
Two years of prior experience in the travel industry (i.e. international airlines, five-star hotel, or a recognized travel agency) or a closely related field is required. (

Key Requirements:

  • Completion of two years of college or university studies is required.
  • 2 years of prior experience is required (See Experience section)
  • English, Hindi and Marathi language is required. (See Language section)

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
