Azure SQL DBA
Experience: 8+

Fulltime
Professional Expertise
Expert experience of Azure SQL (Azure SQL VM, Azure SQL databases and Azure Managed Instance).Azure SQL IaaS and PaaS installation, configuration, monitoring and performance tuning.
Expert knowledge of SQL Server (VM installed, Azure SQL and Azure Managed Instance).Manage DB availability and performance, inclusive of problem ownership and resolution.
DB monitoring and alerting to proactively identify performance and integrity issues.Ongoing optimisation and tuning of DB objects, with in-depth experience of analysing query execution plans.
Support existing product and systems.
DB backup and recovery.
Data archival strategies.
Identify and manage database security issues.
Troubleshooting unexpected issues and providing resolutions.
Problem and root cause analysis.
Knowledge and previous experience of writing and reviewing T-SQL.Personal Attributes
