As a Java and Appian Developer you will contribute to the development, enhancement, configuration and maintenance of Investment Account Services platforms as a member of an agile scrum team. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.
As a Java and Appian Technical Specialist candidate will:
Develop, Test, and Validate application solutions using Appian and Java for Alpha Investment Account Services platforms based on the business requirements. Development of Appian, Java and API and integratons with other internal/external systems Sound fundamentals in Java, Appian, requirement understanding, unit-testing. Knowledge/experience on PL/SQL, No SQL and SQL programming to an extent to carry out the necessary Application development and integration work. Knowledge of Front office, Middle office and Back office domain services (Investment accounting services, Cash services) Work on critical Development, Support and enhancement requests, and ensure the availability, accessibility and accuracy of the data delivered from these platforms. Issue debugging, investigate application related issues, handle and respond to critical application related support issues raised by the business with appropriate fix Understanding the business requirements and converting to the technical requirements Communicate effectively within the global teams and with business teams to carry out project related tasks smoothly in a coordinated approach. Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment. Knowledge, experience of AWS/Azure cloud and Kubernetes is highly desirable.Core/Must have skills:
Min 1+ Years Development experience in Appian 6+ Years Exp in Core Java/ J2EE, API development, micro services 1+ Years Exp in SQL/ PLSQL/No SQL (Prefer Oracle database) 0-1 Years Exp in MQ (Middle Tier) , Kafka (Service to Service communication)Good to have skills:
Any public Cloud Experience Kubernetes, Docker Technical CertificationsWork Schedule: Hybrid
