Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Requirement Elicitation – Understand Client requirements and provide technical perspective aligned with Guidewire out-of-the-box flow
  • Prepare Unit tests (gunits), Technical Design Documentation
  • Customize Guidewire Product based on functional requirements and UI flow
  • Develop Data Models
  • Implement Business Logic (Rules)
  • Design PCF Screens (User Interface)
  • Handle requirements like LOB Mapping and Localization for various locales
  • Develop using Gosu for Classes and Enhancements
  • Participate and conduct Code reviews, offer valuable design and implementation suggestions to the team
  • Extensive experience in GOSU, Core Java, J2EE, Web services, JMS
  • Exposure to Property and Casualty Insurance Business
  • Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum practices
  • Guidewire Certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in Tools like JIRA, SVN, GIT, Ant, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, SonarQube

Required qualifications: Required Experience: 4 to 7 years in IT - Minimum 3 years as a Guidewire Configurator
