Job purpose & Scope


To develop and innovate motor designs like AC universal motor, Brushed/Brushless DC motor, single phase induction motor, PMSM, SRM, Stepper Motor, etc.


Major Areas of ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical parameters of the motor using design and analysis toolsIdeation & validation of motor cost reduction ideas.

Draw scientific conclusions from experiments based on data analysisCarry out design reviews, DFMEA & CREX prediction for new product development.

Ensure that new designs are to applicable regulatory standardsIdentify engineering trends and drive strategies to guide the organization's technical direction.

Create new development tests to aid in design verification and failure modesPerform root cause failure analysis of motor test failures, and analyze and resolve field failure issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitudeHigh proficiency

in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong proficiency in 3D CAD - ProE, Solidworks, NX
