We’re seeking a future team memberfor the role of VP scrum Leader II to join our team. This role islocated in Pune -Maharashtra, Hybrid.
Inthis role, you’ll make an impact in the followingways:
The Scrum Leader is accountable forestablishing and maintaining Scrum, facilitating understanding ofScrum theory and practice, both within the Scrum Team and theorganization. The Scrum Leader serves the Scrum Team (Team) by:Causing removals of impediments to the Team’s progress; Ensuringthat all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, andkept within the timebox; Helping Teams focus on creating high-valueIncrements that meet the Definition of Done. The Scrum Leaderserves the Product Owner by: facilitating stakeholder collaborationas requested or needed and Providing techniques for effectiveproduct goal definition and backlog management. The Scrum Leaderserves the Organization by: Helping employees and stakeholdersunderstand and enact an empirical approach for complexwork.
Primary responsibilities include: EnsuringScrum principles and practices are followed, Scrum team eventsoccur, are productive and kept within timeboxes. Removingimpediments identified by Teams. Tracking and resolving teamdependencies. Ensuring Teams’ effectiveness in using Scrum.Facilitating and guiding Teams to deliver expected outcomes withhigh quality. Helping Teams focus on creating increments of valuefor each iteration and achieving daily and Iteration goals in thecontext of current program objectives. Using Data driven approachesto help Teams eliminate waste, improve productivity and improveteam performance. Facilitates Team level events and readiness.Helps Teams come up with Iteration Goals and PI objectives.Aggregate team objectives into Program Objectives. Fostersinnovation and implementation of strategic solutions withinregional/global, large programs. Helps in managing and optimizingthe value delivery flow through the program/Business domain withina line of business. Ensures SDLC lifecycle, activities andartifacts are managed to completion, where applicable. May overseeand coach less experienced Scrum Leaders. Gets teams withinprograms to high performing levels by recognizing areas of strengthand improvement and employing appropriate coaching and developmenttechniques. Teaches problem solving techniques and helps the teambecome better problem-solvers for themselves. Helps the teamswithin a program improve and take responsibility for their actions;facilitates the problem-solving workshop Contributes to theachievement of related teams’ objectives.
To besuccessful in this role, we’re seeking thefollowing:
Relevant competencies: AgileMethodologies-Advanced / Business Process Improvement-Beginner /Cross Functional Team Leadership-Beginner / Kanban-Intermediate /Lean- Intermediate / Process Improvement-Intermediate / ScaledFrameworks-Intermediate / Scrum-Advanced / Servant Leadership-Advanced / Software Project Management-Beginner / Written and OralCommunication-Advanced
Modified based upon localregulations/requirements. Bachelor’s degree or the equivalentcombination of education and experience is required. 4-6 years ofrelevant experience in similar role. Previous technical experienceis preferred. Experience in Scrum Master role for softwaredevelopment team for large initiatives. Knowledge of various Agileapproaches: Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, Spotify, etc. Awareness andexperience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories,ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing,Automated Testing, Agile Games. Knowledge and experience in the useof tools such as: Jira, Confluence etc. Ability to learn newtechnology quickly, demonstrated by experience in an engineeringenvironment. Ability to take ambiguous topics and translate intoactionable plans working with multiple business, operational andtechnical stakeholders. Excellent communication and mentoringskills. Preferred to have Agile certifications including CSM, PSM,SAFe SSM. Talent for driving change. Ability to drive consensus andresolve conflicts across multiple parties. Strongproblem-solving skills and knowledge of Agile methods, User Storywriting, and prioritization techniques.
