The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The candidate will work onsite at the client’s location. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and scale backend systems using Python. Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve system performance. Design and manage SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization. Build secure, efficient, and well-documented RESTful APIs for internal and external use. Work with Google APIs and leverage GCP services for compute, storage, and database operations. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to meet requirements. Maintain code quality through best practices, documentation, and code reviews. Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and processes. Required Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Python for backend development. Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development. Experience working with Google APIs and GCP services . Knowledge of Git and version control workflows. Additional advantage: Understanding of AWS . Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
