The ideal candidate should be proficient in Shopify Liquid, frontend technologies, and eCommerce best practices, with the ability to deliver seamless, high-performance online shopping experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScriptImplement new features, sections, and templates based on brand requirementsIntegrate third-party apps and create custom Shopify apps when neededOptimize store performance, speed, SEO, and conversionsTroubleshoot and fix theme, UI, and functionality issuesCollaborate with designers and marketers to bring concepts to lifeImplement responsive designs across devicesMaintain code quality, documentation, and version controlStay updated with Shopify releases, updates, and industry best practicesRequirementsProven experience as a Shopify DeveloperStrong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify APIsProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQueryExperience with Shopify apps, integrations, and payment gatewaysFamiliarity with Git or other version control toolsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsUnderstanding of eCommerce flows and UI/UX principlesPreferred Skills:Experience with Shopify PlusKnowledge of React/Vue (for headless Shopify setups)Experience with theme builders (PageFly, Shogun, GemPages)Basic knowledge of SEO for eCommerceAbility to work with Figma/Adobe XD for design implementation
