About RateGainRateGain Travel Technologies Limited is a global provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions for travel and hospitality that works with 3,200+ customers and 700+ partners in 100+ countries helping them accelerate revenue generation through acquisition, retention, and wallet share expansion.RateGain today is one of the world’s largest processors of electronic transactions, price points, and travel intent data helping revenue management, distribution and marketing teams across hotels, airlines, meta-search companies, package providers, car rentals, travel management companies, cruises and ferries drive better outcomes for their business.Founded in 2004 and headquartered in India, today RateGain works with 26 of the Top 30 Hotel Chains, 25 of the Top 30 Online Travel Agents, 4 of the Top 5 Airlines, and all the top car rentals, including 16 Global Fortune 500 companies in unlocking new revenue every day.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting of scalable web applications.Ensure adherence to coding standards, design best practices, and quality processes.Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to maintain high technical standards.Define and improve engineering processes, CI/CD workflows, and development best practices.Drive technical design discussions and propose architecture improvements.Oversee Kubernetes-based deployments for scalability and reliability.Collaborate with product and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases and system stability.Continuously evaluate and recommend frameworks, tools, and design patterns.Must-Have SkillsStrong experience in Java and Spring BootHands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). AWS is preferred.Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience in Code quality assurance, process setup, and engineering best practicesProven track record in Team leadership, Mentoring, and Code reviewsSolid understanding of asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.)Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized applicationGood-to-Have SkillsExperience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)Exposure to AWS Services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
