Kindly read the entire Job post and Odoo Development credentials is a must.About UsAt Love Furniture, we blend technology and design to bring high-quality, affordable home and office furniture to customers across the UK and Ireland.We run a modern e-commerce business powered by Magento (front-end), Odoo (backend ERP), and a mobile app built in Android - all hosted on AWS Cloud.As we scale our operations, we’re looking for a hands-on Odoo Technical Lead to spearhead our technical roadmap, guide our developers, and ensure seamless integration across our digital ecosystem.Position OverviewThis role is for an experienced Odoo Developer who can also lead a cross-functional tech team.You’ll be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining our Odoo environment while overseeing integration with Magento, Android, and AWS systems.You will act as both a technical architect and a team leader - ensuring all our systems work harmoniously to deliver excellent customer experience and efficient internal workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Odoo development lifecycle - from requirement gathering, customization, deployment & support.Design and implement Odoo modules and integrations (Magento, Android app, AWS).Ensure consistent code quality, documentation, and version control (Git) across all projects.Build data flows and APIs between Odoo blue grass, eCommerce, and mobile systems.Manage system architecture, performance tuning, and scalability.Collaborate with management to translate business goals into technical solutions.Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.Monitor project progress, define milestones, and report status to leadership.Supervise and coordinate a technical team consisting of Odoo Developer, Magento Developer, Android Developer, AWS Cloud Architect.Required Skills & Qualifications7+ years hands-on experience in Odoo development (v14–v17 preferred).Strong command of Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.Expertise in custom Odoo modules, invoicing, inventory, CRM, sales, and reporting.Proven experience integrating Odoo with eCommerce (Magento) and Android apps.Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).Excellent understanding of REST APIs, Odoo RPC, and JSON/XML integrations.Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.Strong leadership and communication skills - able to guide, motivate, and evaluate technical staff.Ability to analyze business workflows and recommend system improvements.Preferred QualificationsOdoo certification (Technical or Functional)Experience with Magento 2 architecture and Android development coordinationBasic knowledge of Docker or KubernetesExperience managing multi-environment deployments (Dev/Staging/Prod)Why Join Love FurnitureBe the technical backbone of a fast-growing furniture brand.Lead a diverse and talented multi-platform team.Work directly with the leadership team to shape the company’s tech direction.Flexible work environment and supportive culture.Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
