Job Title: SEO Intern Experience: 0–1 Years Location: Verdant 84 Plot 1, Lane Z, , Koregaon Park Annexe, Pune Department: Digital Marketing Reporting to: SEO Manager Key Responsibilities Assist in basic keyword research and maintain keyword sheets under guidance. Support the team with competitor checks and identifying simple content opportunities. Help in on-page optimisation tasks like updating meta titles/descriptions, alt tags, and internal links. Participate in technical SEO checks , such as spotting broken links, slow pages, or missing tags. Work closely with the SEO Manager to draft content briefs for blogs and landing pages. Track daily/weekly performance using Google Search Console and GA4 , and update reports. Assist in updating schema markup templates and learn implementation practices. Stay updated with latest SEO trends, tools, and Google algorithm changes. Support website updates across WordPress/Shopify/Magento (training will be provided). Must-Have Skills Basic understanding of SEO concepts (keywords, meta tags, backlinks, crawling). Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console, GA4 , and at least one among Ahrefs/SEMrush (training provided). Willingness to learn technical SEO and use tools like Screaming Frog. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is preferred but not mandatory. Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and willingness to explore new tools/techniques. Good communication skills for creating simple reports and discussing findings. Ability to work on Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining trackers.
