Flynaut is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard its IT infrastructure by implementing and managing robust security measures. The ideal candidate will oversee firewall configurations, antivirus systems, endpoint protection, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks. Familiarity with CMMS compliance standards for IT security is a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce security policies and protocols to protect IT systems and data.
  • Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation of identified risks.
  • Security Systems Management: Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls, antivirus systems, and endpoint security solutions to prevent unauthorized access and threats.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, minimizing potential damage and preventing future occurrences.
  • Compliance: Maintain CMMS-compliant records and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  • Security Awareness: Conduct training sessions to raise awareness about security best practices among employees.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, assessments, and incidents.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with CMMS compliance and its application in IT security is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex security challenges.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in securing hybrid or cloud-based environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Knowledge of incident response planning and disaster recovery strategies.
