Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Scala Developer to join our team. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions and contributing to the technical design and implementation of our software products. Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Scala programming language
  • Experience with Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play, or Spark
  • Familiarity with functional programming principles
  • Knowledge of distributed computing systems

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
  • Contribute to the architectural design and development of scalable software solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Technical Skills:

Programming Languages:

  • Proficient in Scala
  • Familiarity with Java is a plus

Scala Frameworks:

  • Experience with Akka, Play, or Spark

Database Management:

  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

Version Control Systems:

  • Experience with Git or other version control systems

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Scala development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
