Job Description:

The Information Security Specialist or Manager should have hands-on experience implementing the ISO 27001 framework to validate and monitor the effectiveness of IT controls. Key responsibilities include conducting IT audits and supporting GRC related activities. Positions are available in Bengaluru.


Skill Set and Responsibilities:

  1. ISMS ISO 27701: Experience with ISO 27001 framework and coordinating external audits independently. Working knowledge of administrative controls is required.
  2. IT Audits: Experience in conducting IT audits, internal information security audits, gap analysis, and risk assessments. Ability to provide improvement recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture. Willingness to travel to other office locations or states as needed.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Good technical expertise in IT security controls, including the ability to validate IT log files and manage technical controls related to networks, firewalls, antivirus software, etc.
  4. Vulnerability Management: Ability to coordinate and manage vulnerability assessment activities with the IT team to mitigate security risks.
  5. Incident Management: Experience in managing incident response activities, coordinating with IT and support functions, and resolving security incidents promptly to minimize impact.
  6. Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Proficient in end-to-end BCP activities, including developing BCPs and DRPs, conducting business impact analyses, and coordinating BCP tests with business and IT teams.
  7. Experience in conducting third party risk assessment or vendor risk assessment related activities.
  8. Other Support: Contribute to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives and regulatory compliance, including reviewing Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and client contracts for security clauses, and addressing information security questionnaire queries.
  9. Data Privacy: Good understanding of GDPR compliance and experience with data privacy and data protection activities. Conduct Privacy impact assessment.
  10. Conduct information security awareness training, provide materials, validate physical security controls.
  11. Provide additional support to the Head of Information Security as required and assist with other job duties as needed that is necessary and not specified above.

Qualifications:

  1. 7 to 10 years of experience in Information security, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or GRC roles without any gaps.
  2. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field without any gaps.
  3. Good to have ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
  4. Additional Information security related certifications are advantageous.
