Elemantix Ltd. is an educational consultancy specialising in helping students from India realise their dreams of studying abroad, particularly in the UK. We provide end-to-end support from university applications to integration into UK life. As we expand our digital presence, we are seeking a creative Video Editor to join our team and enhance our content strategy with engaging videos and podcasts.
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Video Editor to create, edit, and deliver high-quality long-form content (podcasts) and short-form content (reels, shorts). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video storytelling, social media trends, and the ability to produce engaging content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Edit long-form podcasts and short-form videos (reels, shorts) for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives using raw footage, sound effects, music, graphics, and animations.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all video content aligns with Elemantix’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Social Media Trends: Stay updated on current video trends, platform-specific algorithms, and innovative editing techniques.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to conceptualise and execute video projects.
- Feedback Integration: Revise edits based on feedback from the team to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Asset Management: Organise and manage video assets and maintain a library of video templates and graphics.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software like Final Cut Pro, Wondershare Filmora, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
- Creativity & Storytelling: Ability to transform ideas into visually appealing content that tells a story and engages the audience.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure high-quality, polished videos.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio showcasing past work in video editing is mandatory.
Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Experience in creating content for the education sector or study abroad industry is an advantage.
- Experience in video optimisation for various social media platforms.
