We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate Director – Record to Report (RTR). Reporting to the Director/ Senior Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai(Vikhroli) / Indore, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global Services Centres Operations department and it’s growth.


Purpose of Role

The Associate Director – RTR Service Delivery will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end R2R processes of large global clients. You will ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous improvement of processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to drive operational excellence


Scope

The role involves managing high-performance teams, driving process migrations, and implementing robust governance models to optimize operations. It requires strong leadership to foster productivity, minimize attrition, and implement automation initiatives, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the GSC operations department.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and manage the R2R team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the R2R process and enhance team efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all R2R-related issues and escalations.


Process Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end R2R processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance and improvements.


Financial Statement Preparation

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the reconciliation and consolidation of financial data from multiple regions to produce comprehensive reports.

Global Client Management

  • Oversee and manage global client relationships across multiple geographies, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise in a timely manner.
  • Manage the complexities of servicing global clients, including navigating different regulatory environments, cultural differences, and varying business practices


Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners, to align R2R processes with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.


KPI and SLA Tracking

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) related to the quality and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address any performance issues.


Attributes/Technical Skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Good Presentation skills & Customer Focus
  • Microsoft office, specifically Word, Power point and advance Excel
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle MS BD)
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure


Relevant Experience

  • Experience in SSC / BPO will be added advantage
  • Experience of handling large team size, multiple geographies and time zones


Education and Professional Qualification

MBA/CA /M.Com with 15+ years of total experience of which 10 + Experience in managing record to report operations in Shared Service Centre / BPO
