Key Responsibilities for this role include the following:


  • Part of a team of BCM-Risk management professionals who manages Business Continuity for the Organization
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program
  • Develop, maintain, or implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions
  • Plan, conduct, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly
  • Actively plan, coordinate quarterly BCM site down tests. Responsible for the compliance of testing policies for the BL
  • Drive and report the outcomes of site down tests
  • Attend Internal/ external audits conducted in BCM space. Drive audit recommendations to closure
  • Design BCM trainings and other awareness sessions
  • Review reports for the tests conducted
  • Represent BCM team across various forums
  • Keeps assigned BL crisis ready with response plans and critical staff lists
  • Explore opportunities for automation in BCM space
  • Works on Continuous improvement of the BCM program for the BL
  • Accountable for managing the BL Level CMT lists / maintaining Crisis ready staff lists
  • Manages projects for the BCM team for the BLs assigned
  • Plays key role in Crisis Management for the BLs assigned
  • Works with high level of autonomy for the BLs assigned within the agreed BCM framework
  • Responsible to make sure that right people are participating in the BCM trainings
  • Drive monthly BCM Coordinator meetings


Technical Competencies : Candidate at this level should have the following core technical skills:


  • Solid understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes and best practices
  • Solid knowledge on BCM lifecycle , Incident Management, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery domains
  • Hands on experience on BCM / Crisis Management/ communication tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)


Profile Required


Expected Educational background: Graduation (BSC, BE, BTECH etc.)


Candidates with experience in managing Business Continuity for Banking/Financial Institution would be preferred .


Certifications preferred:


  • ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
  • CBCP : Certified Business Continuity Professional
  • CBCI : Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute


Behavioral Competencies : Candidate at this level should have the following behavioral skills:


  • 5-8 Years of dedicated BCM Experience
  • Excellent Communication, presentation & negotiation skills
  • Need good Analytical & Problem solving skills
  • Should be a good team player
  • Ability to handle pressure during crisis
  • Ability to complete projects assigned within the deadlines
  • Experience in conducting training/ awareness sessions
