Strategic Financial Management:Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.Lead long-term financial planning and risk management initiatives.Ensure effective financial decision-making to support business growth.2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Prepare detailed monthly financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.3. Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and market conditions.Conduct financial forecasting to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.Monitor and report on budget performance, addressing any variances.4. Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.5. Contract Management:Oversee contracts with Clients & Vendors Identify & implement risk management measures in consultation6. Tax Compliance:Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, income tax returns, and other mandatory filings.Manage tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues or disputes.Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.7. Investment and Capital Management:Manage the company’s investment portfolio and make strategic investment decisions.Oversee capital structure and funding strategies to support business operations.8. Cost Control and Efficiency:Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.Implement process improvements and financial controls to enhance profitability.Monitor and manage operational expenses to ensure financial sustainability.9. Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and initiatives.Ensure the finance team remains up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.10. Stakeholder Communication:Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the seniorsAct as the primary point of contact for financial matters with investors, banks, and other external stakeholders.Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation:Qualified Chartered Account (CA) Experience:Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in relevant senior roles, preferably within the IT consulting or technology sector.Should be able to demonstrate strong grip on in financial & compliance management, strategic planning, and risk management.Technical Skills:Proficiency in financial software (working knowledge in Zoho Modules desirable), ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry-specific financial practices.In-depth knowledge of GST, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements in India.Analytical and Strategic Thinking:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to diverse audiences.Leadership and Team Management:Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance management.Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Career PathThis role is pivotal in driving the financial success and strategic growth of the company,requiring a blend of technical expertise, business & strategic acumen and strongleadership abilities.
