**Job Overview:**
The **Sales and Distribution Manager** will be responsible for driving the growth of SALT Oral Care's sales through wholesalers, distributors, and retail partners. This role requires a strategic, results-driven individual with experience in sales management, distribution networks, and a deep understanding of the oral care industry. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with key distributors and wholesalers, driving product availability, and ensuring our brand reaches new markets while meeting growth targets.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Sales Strategy Development**: Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth in key wholesale and distribution channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- **Distributor & Wholesaler Management**: Build and nurture strong relationships with key distributors and wholesalers to ensure product availability, optimize sales, and increase market penetration.
- **Market Expansion**: Identify new distribution opportunities and channels to expand SALT Oral Care’s footprint in domestic and international markets.
- **Sales Forecasting**: Monitor and forecast sales performance across distribution channels, adjusting strategies to meet targets and maximize revenue.
- **Promotions & Partnerships**: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns, joint marketing initiatives, and co-branded activities that drive sales through partners.
- **Performance Analysis**: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize the sales process and ensure targets are consistently met. Report on sales performance to senior leadership.
- **Contract Negotiations**: Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with wholesalers and distributors to ensure mutually beneficial relationships and maximize profitability.
- **Training & Support**: Provide ongoing training and support to distributors and wholesalers on product knowledge, selling techniques, and brand messaging to ensure effective representation of the brand.
- **Logistics & Distribution Oversight**: Work closely with logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient distribution processes, inventory management, and timely delivery to partners.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by resolving issues, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with partners and clients.
**Qualifications:**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- **5+ years of experience** in sales management, with a focus on wholesale, distribution, or retail in the **consumer goods** or **oral care** industry.
- Proven track record of **driving sales growth** through wholesalers, distributors, and retail partnerships.
- **Strong negotiation and communication skills**, with the ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- **Data-driven mindset**: Proficient in sales forecasting, analysis, and performance tracking.
- **Experience in managing distribution networks**, with a strong understanding of logistics, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- **Passion for oral care and sustainability**, with an understanding of market trends and customer demands in the oral care industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results.
