About the company:

We are hiring for one of our top clients, a Series-B funded smart logistics management platform that enables businesses to significantly reduce transportation costs, lower carbon footprint, enhance customer experiences, boost delivery productivity, and drive seamless cross-border freight movement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin with a focus on performance
  • and usability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver
  • seamless mobile experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Ensure the application meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Strong understanding of modern Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel,
  • LiveData, Jetpack).
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles and creating intuitive user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, and tools like Retrofit, Glide, etc.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of app performance optimisation and memory management techniques.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).


Good to Have:

  • Experience working on logistics or supply chain management solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., Firebase).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android.
  • Understanding of reactive programming (RxJava or Coroutines).
