Assistant Manager

· IT Operations Management:
- Assist in managing day-to-day IT operations and ensure the availability and performance of IT systems and services.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
· Project Management:
- Support the planning, execution, and management of IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
· Team Supervision:
- Supervise and support IT staff, including providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
· Systems and Network Administration:
- Assist in the management and configuration of network systems, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ensure system security by implementing and monitoring security protocols, including access controls and data protection measures.
- Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
· User Support and Management:
- Oversee user support operations, including helpdesk functions and incident management.
- Ensure timely resolution of user issues and provide high-quality customer service.
- Implement and manage IT policies and procedures to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
· Vendor and Contract Management:
- Assist in evaluating and selecting IT vendors and service providers.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
· Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Contribute to the development of IT strategies and plans to align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on IT performance, project status, and resource utilization.
- Analyze IT trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
· Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage IT security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems from threats and breaches.
Location:
Baiterni West, Angul (Odisha)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
At least 3 years of experience in IT roles, including experience in project management and team supervision..
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and network management.
Proficiency in IT project management and vendor management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance requirements.
