Overview


We are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer Intern to join our growing fintech team. As a Fullstack Developer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in building end-to-end applications for the stock market and algorithmic trading domain. This is a full-time internship (Monday to Friday) that requires active collaboration with our team during standard working hours.


Project Scope


You will work on developing enterprise-level fintech solutions, such as scalping tools, algorithmic trading applications, and financial data analysis features. The intern will handle real-time stock market data, integrate trading algorithms, and implement subscription management and payment integration functionalities. This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment that pushes the boundaries of financial technology.


Responsibilities


  • Develop RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.


  • Utilize websockets to handle real-time stock market data, ensuring low-latency updates to the user interface.


  • Convert FIGMA designs into responsive front-end interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.


  • Implement subscription management and payment gateway integration to enable premium features for users.


  • Design and develop data visualization components to represent financial data in an easy-to-understand format.


  • Collaborate with UI/UX team, Quant team, and AI/ML teams to translate business logic into scalable, functional code.


  • Integrate algorithmic trading modules for various trading strategies, ensuring scalability and reliability.


  • Maintain clean, maintainable code by following best practices, developing unit tests, and participating in peer code reviews.


  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and TimeScaleDB to manage application data.


  • Participate in Scrum meetings, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align development progress with team goals.


Expectations on Collaboration & Working Hours


This is a full-time internship, and we expect you to collaborate actively with our team during standard working hours (e.g., 9 AM - 6 PM IST). You will work closely with senior developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.


Requirements


  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Technical Skills:


  • Familiarity with React for front-end development.


  • Basic knowledge of Python and back-end frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.


  • Understanding of PostgreSQL  or any SQL DB for data management.


  • Knowledge of websockets and real-time data handling.


  • Experience in implementing UI from FIGMA designs.


  • Basic understanding of financial data and stock market operations.


  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on financial and data-driven challenges.


  • Team Player: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a remote team.


  • Code Quality: Willingness to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.


Nice to Have


  • State Management: Familiarity with Redux or similar libraries for state management in React.


  • CI/CD & Git: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.


  • Subscription Management: Knowledge of implementing subscription management systems.


  • Algo Trading: Understanding of trading algorithms and the basics of algo trading.


  • Portfolio: Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing relevant work.


Technical Skill Development Opportunities


  • Gain practical experience in API integration, data visualization, and real-time data processing using websockets.


  • Develop hands-on knowledge in algorithmic trading and working with scalable subscription management systems.

Stipend/Benefits Information


  • Stipend: 5000 INR per month during the internship.


  • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, fully remote, with active participation during standard working hours.
