Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Lead Design Engineer in overseeing the design team’s operations. 
  • Contribute to the development of design strategies and ensure their implementation. 
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure designs meet cross-functional requirements. 
  • Oversee the progress of projects from concept to production, ensuring they adhere to timelines and budgets. 
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. 
  • Conduct complex design and analysis tasks to ensure vehicle performance meets standards. 


Qualifications: 

  • Minimum experience 6+ years required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design, preferably in road-rail vehicle manufacturing. 
  • Proficient in mechanisms, drive systems, powertrains, vehicle design, load/stress analysis, and dynamic analysis. 
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
