Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager with hands-on expertise in Python development and a track record of successfully managing AI-NLP projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in AI-NLP projects and a total of 8-10 years of professional experience.


As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coordinating, and delivering complex AI-NLP initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project lifecycles, managing technical teams, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead end-to-end management of AI-NLP projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Technical Expertise: Apply hands-on experience in Python development and AI-NLP techniques to provide technical guidance, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions.
  3. Team Management: Build and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, and providing mentorship and support to team members.
  4. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements, translating them into technical tasks and deliverables.
  5. Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  6. Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and quality control processes to maintain high-quality AI-NLP solutions.
  7. Resource Allocation: Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, hardware, and software, to optimize project productivity.
  8. Communication: Foster clear and consistent communication among team members and stakeholders, including project status updates and issue resolution.
  9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports.
  10. Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, best practices, and innovative technologies to enhance project performance.
  12. Client Engagement: Interact with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, and managing project scope changes.


Technical Capabilities:

  • Hands-on Python Development: Proficiency in Python, including the ability to develop and review code, troubleshoot technical issues, and guide development teams.
  • AI-NLP Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
  • Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in AI-NLP projects.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data preprocessing, data pipelines, and data management in NLP projects.
  • Cloud and Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as it pertains to AI-NLP projects.


Team Management Skills:

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Project Planning: Strong project planning and organizational skills, with the ability to define objectives, scope, and resource requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Skill in managing conflicts and resolving issues among team members.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Training and Mentorship: Capability to train and mentor team members, share knowledge, and promote professional development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing AI-NLP projects, with a strong technical background in Python development.
  • Solid understanding of AI-NLP technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and delivery.
